About the film

A shift in space and time sends the “Lost Ancestors” tumbling into the primordial wilderness, where they join Fuxi, Nuwa, and the divine beast Yaoyao on a journey back to the roots of civilization, with the goal of collecting five energy stones. Restore the Eight Trigrams to their rightful places and establish the laws of heaven and earth with the Stone of Order; inscribe characters and open the gates of civilization with the Stone of Heritage; weave nets and fish to build the foundations of survival with the Stone of Sustenance; tame beasts and embrace coexistence to forge a harmonious path with the Stone of Symbiosis; and witness the grand marriage ceremony amid bonfires, ritual, and music to obtain the final Stone of Ritual and Music. As the five stones resonate, a dragon-shaped passage bursts into existence, and this journey to discover our roots is ultimately etched into the river of time with the mark of “Awakening the Light of Huaxia.”
